Methodology and sources

How to read this page.

Marriage totals and rates come from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Arizona Department of Health Services. Wedding costs, per-guest spending and venue details come from The Knot's survey-based Real Weddings Study of U.S. couples married in 2025. The guest entertainment figure comes from The Knot's 2023 study of Gen Z couples married in 2022, and the wedding-favor figure comes from The Knot Worldwide's 2024 data.
